Unfortunately, you are quite right - a simple USB to Parallel adapter won't work, as these are only intended to be used with printers. Since I've just been through all this myself, I can at least pass on what I have found out, though whether it will help you, I daren't say! But I am not too sure about this solution. Someone suggested that using a converter/adapter for parallel port to usb port will solve the problem.
(Should you encounter the error below, simply specify a different path for the installer to work with, for example C:\Windows\Temp).ġ5.
